DeleteTony, which video are you referring to? The lions in the first and third video are not eating a penis, they are eating the testicles. Testicles are white when they come out (I've seen plenty of calves castrated....the balls are white or gray). In the middle video, the zebra's penis (which gets torn off and devoured by a hyena at the 2.00 min mark) appears white because it is a night video and the colors wash out under the bright lights, in natural light it was probably pink and brown or black, and to a lioness or a hyena is scrumptious eating I'm sure:) You ask about maneaters and do they eat the genitals of humans? DeleteWe did three kinds of castration. First, we did pigs at about 40 pounds. We would lift them up and put a loop around one leg so they were suspended from the ceiling with a rope, and then hold them with your body against a fence. Would cut a slit across the top of each ball with a razor knife, and then pinch under the sak to pop both of them out. Use one hand to pull them away from the body, and a quick swipe with the knife to cut the cords. Since they were not yet at puberty, there was almost no blood. Each ball were each about the size of an unshelled peanut, and was whiteish-pink. Each pig took about a minute from start to finish, except the stronger ones that wiggled away.

But, for a handful of unlucky ones, the band would break off and the balls would grow. So, at about 1 year, we would have to round up the yearlings to do other things to them, and would take care of this at the same time. At a year, the calfs are getting big, I would guess 300 pounds, so we would put them in a headgate. We had metal cuffs that chained their hind legs to the gates, as a kick could kill you. We used a special tool called a Newberry, You could hold the balls in one hand to get the cords out of the way, and use the tool to pierce and slit between the balls in one motion. If you did it right, both balls would fall and the cords unravel. We had another tool that had a flat crimping surface to crush the cord, and a snipper portion that could cleanly clip it off, kinda like a wire cutter. Again, very clean, little blood, and the balls were just like in the video: whiteish but the cord was a greyish brown.

Rather than me blather on, here is a video that shows very closely what we did. The only difference is that for the older bulls the balls were much larger, and had to be done one at a time.
